This is an easy, safe and effective 12-week exercise and nutrition education program focused on building muscle strength, improving bone density, balance and mobility and preventing falls. The program is designed for and is appropriate for mid-life or older adults. 

A single white oak barrel was rotated between three collaborators in 2021: Arctic Harvest Distillery, Black Spruce Brewing, and OneTree Alaska. Each will release the product they made on Earth Day, April 22, 2022.

A two-day wood-drying workshop will teach participants tools and techniques for drying lumber to maximize yield and quality, while managing loss from warping, splitting and decay. Taught by Frederik Laleicke, North Carolina State University.
