Pest Management: What’s bugging your garden?
Root maggots devouring your cruciferous vegetables? Aphids won’t leave your leaves alone? Unwelcomed slugs creeping in? In this hands-on workshop with Alaska Harvest Collaborative, we will learn how to identify common Alaskan garden pests, understand preventive measures and develop an integrated pest management plan for your home garden. 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17. Meet at the entrance to Georgeson Botanical Garden. $20; student discount available.
