Professor of Extension Sarah Lewis will offer an overview of the new Alaska Homemade Food Rules at 2 p.m. in Homer on April 19, 2026.
If you have a homemade foods business, would like to start one, or might sell homemade foods through your market, knowledge of Alaskaʼs new Homemade Foods rules will help ensure youʼre in compliance. Itʼs important to understand the risks and opportunities associated with selling either potentially harmful or non-potentially harmful foods from a home-based business.
