Food and Exercise for Bone Health: Jan. 28, 2026

Food and Exercise for Bone Health: Jan. 28, 2026

Men and women experience a decrease in bone density with age, increasing the risk of broken bones and frailty.

In this Zoom-based class, UAF Extension Professor Sarah Lewis will discuss eating with your bone health in mind as well as exercising to maintain bone density and improve balance. Women should understand these preventive strategies in their 30s and men in their 50s, but itʼs never too early or late in life to improve your bone health.

Wednesday, Jan. 28, 5:30-7 p.m. $10

The Zoom link will be emailed to participants after registration.
