Join us for the premier Cajun cuisine cooking competition in Sitka: The Sitka Etouffee-Off!
For the first time in this legendary series, we will be pitting mother (Sandy — like the beach — Thibodeaux) against son (Geof Goudeau) in a battle royale for for your taste buds. In the first of two hours, you will witness a true witch of the swamps concoct a spellbound version of crawfish etouffee. The second hour will allow you to experience the magic of a Cajun-born, Alaska-honed chef spin a tale of tastebuds in his own version of crawfish etouffee. After both contestants have bared it all for your savory satisfaction, YOU decide which creator has crafted the culinariest Cajun dish. While only one chef will win this war of south Louisiana wits, your successful registration will guarantee that you will be the true winner (of a full belly of homemade Cajun crawfish etouffee)!
