Tok: Making Alaska Sausage & Jerky

Saturday, Nov. 2, 2-5 p.m.

Making Alaska Sausage and Jerky: Participants will learn the processes of making jerky and sausage and the special considerations for handling meat safely. Each person will be able to mix meat with their choice of seasonings and practice putting meat into casings. Supplies and ingredients will be provided. Taught by Leslie Shallcross, UAF Cooperative Extension Service. $25 

Classes will be held at the Interior Alaska Campus, Tok Center, located on West 1st St.
