Tok: Canning Meat & Fish

Canning Meat & Fish
Friday, Nov. 1, 5:30-9:30 p.m.

This class will cover the basics of using a pressure canner and instructions on creating safe, high-quality jarred Alaska fish and meat. All supplies and ingredients will be provided. Processing meat and fish is a lengthy process and participants will need to arrange to pick up their products after the processing is done. 

Taught by Leslie Shallcross, UAF Cooperative Extension. $25 

Registration deadline is 5 p.m. Oct. 29

Classes will be held at the Interior Alaska Campus, Tok Center, located on West 1st St.
