Vol. 6. Archaeology of the Tangle Lakes (1964-1978): Activities on an Alpine Landscape in Central Alaska. Brian S. Robinson, Frederick H. West, and Constance F. West

The Anthropological Papers of the University of Alaska focuses on research in the circumpolar north and consists of original research on a variety of topics related to arctic or subarctic anthropology.  Produced by the University of Alaska Fairbanks Department of Anthropology since 1952, APUA offers a collection of scholarly, often rare papers written by noted authorities in the field. The APUA has recently moved to a monograph-based format representing the four fields of anthropology. The editors of the APUA work closely with an editorial board composed of anthropologists from the University of Alaska and elsewhere to peer-review manuscripts.
